About the Episode II Handmaidens   In Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Amidala has served her term as queen of Naboo and has moved on to become the new senator. As Amidala's job changess, the old handmaidens of Episode 1 are gone and are replaced by three new handmaidens: Dormé, Cordé, and Versé. According to the official site, these handmaidens are less like Amidala's defacto court and act more as Padmé Amidala's personal bodyguards than anything else. Unfortunately, both Cordé and Versé die in the opening scenes of Episode II. However, this film does introduce us to the new queen of Naboo, Jamillia. Jamillia has at least four handmaidens of her own.
