Kiss Your Franchise Goodbye In this scene from The Phantom Menace, newly elected Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, accompanied by members of the Jedi Council, has arrived on Naboo to celebrate the planet's liberation from the Trade Federation.  They have also come to take away the ruling members of the Trade Federation and to honor the passing of Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn.  As the Viceroy is led away, Captain Panaka pauses to tell the Neimoidian that he can "Kiss your trade franchise goodbye."
