The Episode 2 Gallery - Death of a Decoy

In this scene from Attack of the Clones, Senator Amidala's ship is making its approach to and landing on Coruscant.   As the Senator-apparent, her handmaiden Versé, and some security officers exit the ship, Captain of Security Typho comments to another pilot on the landing platform that he had been mistaken about some sort of danger.   As he finishes his statement, there is an explosion, destroying the ship and killing everyone who had been on the ship.   At this point in time, the real Amidala reveals herself to be the other pilot Typho had been talking to, and rushes to her dying decoy's side.   The young Senator has to be torn away from Cordé, who had died bravely in Amidala's place.
