ACTRESS:  SOFIA COPPOLA

Sofia Coppola, daughter of famed director, Francis Ford Coppola, played Saché in The Phantom Menace. The multi-talented Coppola has taken turns as actress, model, clothing designer, photographer, and, following the footsteps of her father, filmmaker.

She made her film debut, as an infant, in an uncredited role in The Godfather. She can be seen in several other films but has most recently sought out roles behind the camera. She won accolades for her directorial feature film debut, The Virgin Suicides. In 2004, she won an Academy Award for her screenplay of the film Lost in Translation. She was also nominated for Best Director for that film.

Gallery exhibits of her photographs have been staged and her independent clothing line, Milk Fed, has proved successful.
